How do we relate to other species?

  • We have our food species like carrots and cows.
  • We have useful species like trees.
  • We have our slave species like horses.
  • We have almost equal species like dogs and cats.
  • We have a very few "sort of equal" species like dolphins.
  • The rest are unrelated, tolerated, or eliminated.

    Lets assume E.T. has the same basic needs of any other species.
    Something to eat, A place to be, a supporting environment
    (This may not be the same as ours)
    It could be colder, hotter, dryer, or any other extreme.
    Terraforming Mars

    Would we like it if "E.T." adjusted Earth to fit their enviromental parameters? They may already be doing it! GLOBAL WARMING! Think how much technology change there has been in only 200 years!
    Are we being fed technology for something else's benefit?

    From a Galactic viewpoint: a single planet species, could be designated food, or slave species, very doubtfully equal.
    A space faring species that was inhabiting multiple worlds could be considered in the potentially equal catagory.

    Therefore: we really need to be inhabiting the entire solar system.
